    Many surface and ground water investigations at mine sites involve monitoring and prediction of water quality. Although water quality standards vary from site to site, a water quality tool has been developed for many of the elements listing standards from the World Bank, B.C. Water Quality Control Criteria, Canadian Guidelines and the EPA.
