Shannon Shaw - RGC Associate
Ms. Shannon Shaw has a B.Sc. in chemistry and geological sciences and a M.Sc. in applied mineralogy.
Currenly a partner in the consulting firm Mehling Environmental Management Inc., she was RGC's senior geochemist from 1996 to January 2005.
During that time she was responsible for all aspects of geochemical investigations for RGC. She has significant experience in field work and
modeling studies, multi-stakeholder facilitation and closure planning. She has published scientific papers
in the areas of mine waste characterization, acid generation prediction, decision making for mine reclamation and custodial transfer.
